| Here are some of the best books I've ever read: "The Tribes of Palos Verdes" its by Joy somebody...its about the surf/drug culture in Southern Cali in the 90's...her style of writing is so beautiful...this book changed my life. "Tales From the Geronimo: My Seduction by Junk and Desert Dreams" by Scott Frank...about the drug trade in Tucson Arizona in the 70's...it's a true story written by a recovering addict, really, really good and his writing is lyrical almost. "The Beach" I know all of yall have probably seen the movie with Leo Dicaprio, but the book is 100 times better...it's by Alex someone....I wanna say Alex Garland? "Smack" Melvin Burgess....follows 2 heroin addicts in England over the years as they get worse and worse...pretty good stuff
