Mayan Astrology: Mayan BLACK HOLE, in center of galaxy

In Maya creation texts, their is a celestrial crossroad where a "black hole" gives birth to dieties. This is thought to be,the same black hole, what astrophysicists identify as the black hole in the center of the galaxy. "The cosmic birth canal of the milky way great mother."
The Mayans were aware of the Galactic Center black hole and considered it to be intimately involved in the cosmogenesis contained in the Creation narratives.

I was researching this very topic the other day, but I didn't think it would be necessary to post about it. Interesting to see that someone else shares my interest!

We are still trying to find out why the Mayan culture suddenly disappeared and left very little traces. Maybe they took a black hole out of here?

There is a super massive black hole in the center of our Milky Way galaxy, as well as every other galaxy scientists have observed. So, it is not unique to our galaxy.

but just the fact that the mayans knew about it was amazing.
a culture that hadn't even entered the iron age yet with such a firm grasp on astrology ?
you could also say that the energy they could've spent becoming industrialized could've been channeled into their strong hold on science/astrology ect. but shhh. let me be amazed.

not to mention their great deal of knowledge about astronomy which was used hand in hand with astrology which had to do with their "gods" and their way of life

I was just researching this, trying to find out when they lived and who else was living at that time for comparison. I found, in looking for the "flat earth" theory, that no one really believed in this for almost 2000 years, and that the story of Chris Columbus and the relatively recent discovery of the round earth are false.
