Default Journey to Ixtalan

This is the 3rd out of the 10 or so books Carlos Castaneda wrote and my Favourite one among them. It is an account of castaneda's apprenticeship under the Indian sorccerer Don Juan and how Don Juan teaches carlos to live like a warrior. Carlos Castaneda always claimed that this is an account of real event that he lived through and experienced but some people doubt that. In any case there are some good concepts that the book teaches and some of the things I have to say are way out there. Nonetheless I found the books to be a very interesting read. If you have never read Carlos Castaneda before I would suggest that you read them in sequence starting with 'Teachings of Don Juan' then read 'Separate Reality' and then 'Journey to Ixtalan' and the fourth one is called 'Tales of Power'. I could not finish his fifth book which is called 'The second ring of power' as i found it just repetitive of the first four books and i had had enough.
I am not sure about the other remaining five books. If someone has read them all please post and let me know if it's worth reading them.
Whether these books are just fiction stories or accounts of real events i cannot say....but i have to say that Don Juan and Don Genero are two of the most memorable characters you will ever come accross in the literature world. Peace

I have read 'The Art of Dreaming', and it is pretty good. I haven't read any of the others and had no problem jumping right into it.
