Anyone read this biography of Jim Morrison? It's by Jerry Hopkins and Danny Sugerman and it's cool because these guys were actually around and following the Doors throughout their career. It's written really well and it's got some great pictures of Jim and the Doors as well.

I'd say if you're into the Doors, yes. If you could take them or leave them then you might find it kind of boring. Like I probably wouldn't be able to read a Motley Crue bio because I'm just not into them.

But if you're into the Doors, there's no real lagging section. It's full of interesting stories and tidbits about Jim and the Doors.

It's a fun book, but don't get suckered into actually believing it's truthful. ;-)

Thats a good book for a doors fan, but even if you're not a doors fan you should check out "Wonder Land Avenue" its Danny sugarmans biography, not of just his life with the doors but his whole life from kid to junkie. Really good read in my opinion.
