I am currently reading this book and i must say that it is great... its for school reading and i am thoroughlu enjoying it. its about a post nuclear war United States and a wanderer named Gordon who finds a dead postman and since he was recently robbed he takes all of his clothes and becomes a postman... not really though but he becomes an important symbol of hope and i dont really want to give away what i have read because you should read it for yourself...

its by David Brin and i highly recommend that you pick up a copy even though it is a rare book.

yeah dude they actually made a huge ass epic out of this movie starred and directed by kevin costner. it was shit, but the book is probably way better...

I did a report in school a couple years ago where I had to compare the book to the movie. The book was so much better than the movie its not even funny. It was the second time I had seen the movie too, and after reading the book, I was surprised at one point I thought the movie was good.
