Has anyone read Heavier Than Heaven? It's by Charles R. Cross. I quite enjoyed it. I found some of the stuff in the book hard to believe.. it seemed at times like it was written by Cobain, as there was details that were kind of sketchy. I really liked it though. Got me through a couple weeks at work.

I liked Scar Tissue by Anthony Kiedis too. Anyone pick this one up? I thought it was pretty well written, down-to-earth kind of book. There's even a picture of Kiedis smoking a joint with his dad when was like 8 or 9.

Being an avid Red Hot fan i own and have read Scar Tissue many times. I've also read the kurt cobain biography by Cross. Have you read the hendrix biography by the same author?

I haven't. But I have been looking for another good book to read, and I did enjoy Cross' writing syle. I'll check it out on Amazon. Have you read any other RHCP bios/books? I really enjoyed Scar Tissue and I'm looking to pick up another one.

I read a book that i purchased on amazon called Give it away which was supposed to be a inside look at the writing of the songs but it wasnt what i expected. Have you seen the Live at Slane Castle DVD, if not you need. Its basically my favorite dvd and i watch it at least once a week

I haven't seen that one. but I'll definitely check it out. I watched the Funky Monk documentary on You Tube. That was really good. Blood Sugar Sex Magik is a great CD.
