| Yeah I'm reading Odd Thomas right now, on chapter twenty, so far it's a pretty interesting book. His writing style is a bit annoying at times, but he's good with plot. I also read The Taking by him, it was decent but not something I'd recommend.

| Dean Koontz is a great writer, but it's kind of be hit-and-miss, especially with his older work. Intensity, Tick Tock, Sole Survivor, and Lightning (it involves time-traveling Nazis, what else do you need to know?) are some of the best books he's written. |

| Usually when I read I only read to learn things, usually I prefer business literature, but Koontz is BY FAR my favorite author of fiction. His book "The Taking" is the best book I have ever read. I recommend it to everyone...seriously. |

| My brother is a fan of his. Personally I've only read one of his books when I was real young. I think it's his only childrens book. It's called Santa's Twin, where santa's twin Bob highjacks christmas. Check it out. ~Tim

| New here, love reading! Read one to two novels a week! Mostly thrillers....anyway about Brother Odd by DK. Same character Odd Thomas, he goes and stays at a monastery and like Odd Thomas weird stuff happens....good book. Right now I'm reading Kathy Reichs' Bones To Ashes, her books inspired the TV show Bones....good, but I like Patricia Cornwall better. I have DK's The Darkest Evening of the Year but haven't started it yet. Stephen King, John Grisham, David Baldacci...just to name a few. |

| Man, Dean Koontz was one of my FAVORITE authors when I was younger. I have read tons of his books, yet I can't recall any right now. ![]() |

| I love dean koontz, he's by far my favorite author! In fact, I haven't read any other book besides his in 3 or so years. My favorite one being "voice of the night" ![]()

| I read Odd Thomas on the beach while I was on spring break. Finished it in one day and immediately went back for the only other Koontz book I could find at the grocery store (which was Brother Thomas). I also like his books Tick Tock and The Door To Midnight. I'm a reluctant but dedicated fan of Koontz, mostly because I feel like he's Stephen King Lite - all the fun and great characterization of a Stephen King novel with half the length and complexity. I don't think he's as talented, but when I'm in the mood for an immersive speed read which won't seriously disturb me or make my brain bleed, he's my first bet.
