The DOJ – in their infinitely dark ambition– have managed to pry an extensive list of Oregon's medical marijuana patients from the state’s Public Health Division. After seeking and obtaining a search warrant last November to seize the records of suspected violators of the OMMP.

The scope of the DOJ's investigation was primarily based on the belief that some within the Oregon medical marijuana program were circumventing the law, and marketing their chronic medicine to those outside of the program.
