I'm the senior web application developer at the company I currently work for and I smoke almost every day. Hopefully another developer can back me up on what I’m about to say.

Just try and program in SQL, JAVA, XML, and create/manage/design relational database systems and try not to go insane day after day. It’s a very analytical and stressful job at times.

By the end of some days my brain is working so fast I need to slow down and relax. So I found a few years ago either get stoned or drink alcohol. I'll be a stoner hands down because alcoholism runs in my family. The happy hours are a lot happier and so is the next morning

my brother worked for intel and hp and he was a big time stoner, he got fired eventually from intel for failing his drug test. he's a cook now, a good one... dude knows how to make gormet munchies ;0)

ChemicalHalo, that's exactly what i'm going to school for...the schooling, while good for me, is going to suck because i have like 45 hours of classes a day. oh well, can't work in factories the rest of my life.
