thats a good quote. Think about that quote when your watching the color coded alerts on CNN or when your thinking about how much the anti-war protesters piss you off.

They are going to kill inocent people, and its not going to make us any safer. The CIA has said that an invasion of iraq will significantly increas the risk of more terrorist attacks. War is terrorism. You can't fight terrorism by inflicting more terrorism upon inocent people. When you fight violence with violence, you only breed more hatred and violence.

I agree with Dave22. All this war crap is bullsh*t. It's a waste of time, money, and people. And it isn't going to solve anything, just create more problems.

I don't like that people automatically assume that all anti-war protestors are anti-troops. I've got 3 immediate relatives in various branches of the military, my father was a navy careerman at 20 years of service. I have incredible respect for them in that they pledge themselves to serving this country, acting as our human shields when necessary and helping out notable causes when necessary.

However, in this case, I DON'T think it's necessary, and I think my troops can best be shown the respect I have for their LIVES by keeping them home.

Anti-war protestors are patriots, too. We just have a different ideal.

If in a few years, Saddam or someone else gets nuclear or strogner biological/chemical weapons, and attacks us un-expectadly, we'll be outright screwed.

And as to the comment on my quote, I'm just opening my mouth ( or typing ) I'm just typing/voicing my opinion.

My opinion is that this war is necassary, It is my opinion that the anti-war protestors are making the soldiers feel like outcasts (they interviewed them on CNN, they are very worried)

Then why aren't we dealing with north korea, who has or almost has nuclear weapons and who openly threatened us with them. We're onley interested in invading the country that happens to have the largest oil reserves in the world.
