Check out http://www.fundrace.org, it has charts maps and you can look up people by name or print out everyone in a certain area code that has donated to a candidate. Personally I think this is kind of screwed up, I mean in the past this was still public information, but you couldn't just go to a website and look it up. Maybe it’s just me, but I find it a little troubling, however interesting at the same time heh.

A lot of the people around me are donating money to Bush. One actually donated to Kucinich.

surprisingly people around here are donating to Kerry, odd, as i live in typical suburbia...and theres quite a few bush signs on peoples lawns.

I wish you at least had to fill out a form somewhere to get this info. I know it is public record, but with a sight like that, I wonder if a lot of contributors would reconsider their donations. I guarantee most of the people on this site have no idea this info is so easily gotten.

That said, yes, of course I checked my neighborhood. Mostly Kerry/DNC donations, which is about expected for a historically Democratic area (lots of union workers, professors, and the like).
