| New Today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast, the Dopefiend kicks things off by talking about the much-forgotten and ever growing mature stoner population, and why the War on Drugs would rather brush them under the carpet than admit that Cannabis users can continue their use throughout their lifetime and still function as productive members of society, followed by a reminder for those listeners who wish to join us at the beautiful Big Chill festival this August, then hits the emails starting with one from Tibeau touching on the wave of anti-salvia legislation in the USA and also talking about the level of health risks often associated with Cannabis use and the facts behind the press hype, followed by a message from Conor about his recent diagnosis of schizophrenia and what he believes is behind it. After that, the Dopefiend reads an email from Tommy about how the cleanness of the grow medium affects the quality of home grown Cannabis, we hear some love for the Volcano Vaporizer from a recent convert, then Evil Herb emails with the story of how his pot-virgin girlfriend approached her first-time ganja-smoking session and their impending visit to Amsterdam, before the Dopefiend hits the VaporLounge for a bag of New York City Diesel and a chat about a recent Cannabis Cookie fest, then after a trippy musical interlude Josiah emails with the story of how he fell into stoner culture, and why he chose to try Cannabis, then Josh asks what to do with the pot plant growing in his parents' front garden, an update on the Dopefiend's vapo-poop experiment from epsiode 117, then the great Lorenzo of the Psychedelic Salon podcast emails with a tragic story of loss. Finally, in the Cannabis News, some interesting info on the demographic make-up of Norwegian smokers, and some great news for Vermont on their new legal industrial hemp programme. | New today from the Dopefiend.co.uk Podcast Network: On this week's episode of the Web's Favourite Cannabis Podcast the dopefiend talks about the new advice from a Scottish think tank that the government should legalize and regulate Cannabis in order to deal with the UK's drug problem, talks about the positive effects a "tolerance break" can have on your enjoyment of our sacrament, and passes on a recommendation from ZenitZenZen for Valerian, leading to some chat of legal replacements for Cannabis during such breaks, and the "vapor-bong" technique of passing vapour through water to cool it down before inhaling, followed by some commentary from Zeke on Barack Obama's nomination and Ron Paul's tacit approval of Obama, leading to a bit of commentary from the Dopefiend on the state of play in the US election at the moment. Gooey Rabinski drops some further info on red-eye remedy eyedrops before the Dopefiend talks about the "contact high" phenomenon and favourite stoner films, including mentions for Harold and Kumar, Cheech and Chong and Doomsday, then the Dopefiend heads into the VaporLounge for a chat about how listeners keep their Volcano hidden from non-Cannabis using visitors and a root through his stash box resulting in a hit of some Brainstorm vapour from the vault, while talking about Philosopher's Stones and hearing from Admire about his brand new Volcano vaporizer. Following a homegrown musical interlude from Zeke, the Dopefiend talks about the state of the Mail Order Marijuana scene at the moment and how har it is to find, answers a Volcano question, then we hear from Star about the hypocrisy of anti-Cannabis propaganda when the effects of Cannabis are compared with the side-effects of standard antibiotics, followed by a reminder about our gathering at this year's Big Chill, then, in the Cannabis News, another raid on the Cannabis Cafe in Lancing in the south of England, why Floridian students are choosing Cannabis over tobacco, yet still manage to do plenty of "strenuous physical activity", bad news for BC Bud this season following heavy rains in Canada, and the return of Cheech and Chong to the stand-up comedy stage.
