ive heard about this site from a few people, including my counsellor, and from what ive seen its a pretty cool site. i like the big list of a bunch of celebs who did drugs (freud smoked??!! i guess that makes sense)

what im really after here is verification of the info on erowid, is it bs, is it reliable? thanks.

Yes and no. The people running the site are honest and reliable, but occasionally a piece of information that's incorrect finds it's way into the vault. It's really not an intentional thing, I mean somtimes we don't KNOW the truth right away...

So to answer your question--yes, it's reliable information (as reliable as underground info can be).

Erowid is incredibly reliable! Especially if you are interested in offtopic hallucinogens.

The user experiences are a great insight to what to expect.

Erowid is one hell of an informative website. i've learned most of what i know about drugs from that site. the sections on law, chemistry, and effects are all comprehensive and accurate and the experiences are a great addition.

I just want to remind everyone that somtimes erowid has wrong data and has to fix/update things as the community learns...but YES it is THE SHIZNIT!!!

I just don't want everyone to think that EVERY FACT is %110 reliable because I said so...I've seen pages updated and whatnot, as a good site should!!!

EDIT: I guess it depends on which sections. I am mainly refering to newer, research-off-topics
