Wow that is like a resort, haha... and they get to live there free with food as well as those goodies. Wonder how often they get utilized, though.

From those pictures, it just looks pretty bare to me, and I would still never like to live in such a small space, without being able to leave. But I must say...nice weight room!

But if your stuck there, better than the US prisions of course.

Yeah but for some prisoners with lower-class homes, or even no home..a prison like that would be heaven.

thats so nice.. i can't believe its a prison tho.. its looks like a hotel.. except for the doors and windows have bars on them.

On that note, I was reading that often released prisoners commit crimes, with the intention of being caught, simply to return to prison. Maybe this was on crime TV, talk radio, or something, I really don't remember....

The rationale explained was that they became linked with people in prison and actually ended up living a life that they had trouble saying good bye to.

I never would have thought of prison as a desirable place, but I guess to some folks, it is.

well this seems to take away all aspects of the punishment besides the loss of your freedom. Not sure if it will be enough, but I would be willing to guess it is not high security. Often low security prisons are more about rehabilitation than punishment.

Yeah, this is either for people to get rehabilitation (which would then be more effective them simply throwing them in prison) or this is where the rich prisoners get to go. I can't see them throwing a murderer in this nice of a place, especially since that one pic makes it look like they prisoners get to be alone with their wives and whatnot.
