| The golden book of chemistry experiments Homebrew Science - View topic - [book] - 1960 - The Golden Book of Chemistry Experiments It's a chemistry book with serous chemistry experiments. It was banned in the 60's. Some of the experiments are dangerous and precautions should be taken to prevent injury. Proper ventilation and personal respirators are a must. Chemical splash goggles should be worn at all times. Gloves should be worn at all times when handling chemicals (be sure the gloves are resistant to the chemical you are working with). Chemical resistant cloths are a good idea but a painters suit will work in a pinch. Be sure to read the msds of all chemicals before attempting to work with them or synthesize them. Welcome to Sciencemadness Dot Org A forum for amature chemists. Lot's of helpful information/people. Homebrew Science - Index page Don't know much about it but it looks useful. Science made alive Excellent site for the beginner home chemist. Good experiments with safety data and disposal information. A must see for any home chemist.
