Thanks for the legal information. In this case, they are making entirely new molecules that resemble both THC and anandamide, so would that make it legal?

As far as I know anandamide is not scheduled in the United States so simply extracting it isn't illegal, only ingesting it to get a marijuana like high, burdon of proof lies with the govt. too..
