| Man, I forgot all about this. I remember seeing this thread way back when and doing it. I forget the number but I did it for a fucking looooong time and got a shitload of rice  . I actually sorta enjoyed it Edit: Add another 2000

| One thing I don't get is if they have all these grains of rice just sitting around to donate when people click on random words why aren't they just feeding people regardless?

| It's all based on ad revenue. Tha more traffic they bring in, tha more they can charge for ad space and tha more sponsors they will attract. Right now, if looking at it through tha rose tinted windowpanes of Search Engine Optimization, it's doing rather well with a 7/10 Pagerank and it's currently tha ~9800 most visited website. Anyone with those stats can pull down some decent change from ads. While you are clicking on tha correct definition and hopefully putting that SAT prep to work for ya, there are well placed ads and banners at tha bottom that are discreetly being observed by you.
