I have to join the bi polar group here as well. I take effexor, neurontin, seroquel and klonopin because i've been a very nervous person dating back to when I was a child. I wonder how MJ works with these medications i'm on.

Smoking MJ for recreational purposes will not get you addicted physically, mentally whatever. However smoking weed for the stress relieving aspect of it, yes i would say i am somewhat addicted to weed, not physically but the state of mind it gives you, without that state of mind, i freak.

I take MJ with, bi-polar medication, and depression medication, i'm fine.

Euphoria, maybe knowing i have weed as a comfort helps me as well, perhaps like a safety net.

Hydro, I have clinical depression as well and I was taking Lexapro and Neurontin up until about two months ago. I've been 100% better now than how I felt before I decided I didn't need the meds anymore, but then again I've been having a lot of fun since I quit as well. No dramatics to bring me down, smooth sailing.

The meds did help me, I think.

Incidentally, I've been smoking every other day a week for the past two months.

It is supposed to be a depressant... and I can believe that. I think it's low blood sugar, mostly.
