I get really bored at work and write on receipt paper:

It is 7:07pm; my watch is the cruel master of my boredom filled existence. It is simple, yet wicked in its relentlessly accurate time keeping ways. With every glance serving as a reminder to how much time there is until I can venture home. How much longer I must sit here doing nothing, each time I read its unwavering hands the very thing it tracks seems to slow. Each reading forces my boredom mercilessly into the forefront of my mind. I am compelled to look again, I must, I must resist. I must look, it is 7:10pm.
