Fear,
Desire.
I want to pass through
Into Your still embrace.
To see the Face of
Peace,
Reflecting
My Gaze in Your own,
But I am blind.
I will see.

I wrote this little poem while I was musing on how to approach the idea of writing a rhetorical piece on the Perfect woman. I'm big into mythology and the interpretation of it, so of course the poem came out in that language. It's the first poem I've ever actually liked of mine, and it actually has a little bit of universality to it, which is something I always strive for but hardly ever achieve.
