I'm not really sure what you'd call this, but I finally got up the courage to post an original on here. Hopefully someone will at least have the courtesy to criticize it.


In space a white ring surrounds a bright shining light
of miles and miles forever under night and even darker
where nothing else is and nothing else will ever be
you see, peace is not so hard to imagine, it's just impossible to have

Have you seen, the ordinary day
where people yea and people nay
we don't need anybody to say
throw it all away, your life begins today

when empty space replaces all else
peace on earth will never be had
as wishful thinking or ignorant stances
none for sure, an eager opinion shared
