My brother, my sister,
I have been sent here.
I know not the truth.
Instead, I have been lies,
and rally behind symbols
with no meaning...

I am here, not for me
not for you, but for Them.
I am on Their mission.
I carry Their weapons.
I am an arm, a tool,
one that kills. Like you.

We may have been friends
in a different world. Or
artists, poets, and dreamers.
Maybe you were my soulmate.
Perhaps it never would of worked.
It is not our place to ask.

I see you now, soldier,
down the sight of Their barrel,
ready to pull Their trigger.

bullets rain, blood is spilled,
