Do any of you write poems when your high? i just recently got into it.. its a funny story actually. i woke up on saturday, and i see a notebook on the floor... apparently, i wrote a poem. ever since then i write poems when im high! if you write poems, post them here. (sorry if theres already a thread for this, i searched for it.. but nothing came up.) heres the one i woke up to :

In times of distrust, I lay cemented shut, with nothing but the wind to carry me by. My legs weighted down, unable to move, my dreams drift further and further away. I follow my road quietly and patiently, not knowing what will come next. My life, it's much like a movie, without a happy ending. I allow my choices to bcome more and more distracting, and my actions will someday come around to throw me down, unexpectedly.. leaving nothing but ashes of what was once importaint.

That's a pretty nice poem although I would suggest to put make new lines so it's not like a paragraph of straight text.

This one is really bad... I couldn't think of an ending x-x

Psychedelic colors in the sky
So many different things out tonight
Yelling out everything that comes to mind
Coughing up what should have been mine
Hearing the colors as they sway in the wind
Eating the color purple, yum, it's the new trend
Dreaming while I'm still awake
Engulfed, as reality starts to take
Laughing as I watch my friends
I start to wish this would all just end
Coping with what it could have been

My fellow spirit,
Up in smoke I follow.
Need herb to get lit,
laugh as time gets slow,
Body shut, soul active,
Kicking out with a blow.
Mind staying passive,
Smell is see,
As see is listen....
World turned heavenly,
While you're astral jammin'.

Ok so I wrote a little something yesterday... I wasn't counting the number of syllables at all and went for a 1-2-2-1 pattern. It doesn't sound good but I feel that the creativity is there....

I will type it exactly as I wrote it (with misspellings in capital, I seem to forget how to spell when blunted and tend to focus on what to write):

When YOUR back is aching from your worries
And your happiness ahead is too far away,
I know there is nothing at all to say,
But to ENHALE that MAJICAL M.J...

Smooth sailing the infinite vast waters
She asks me of not any favor
Travelin' beyond beauty and splendor
Revealing the pureness of the most evil monsters.

Bad turns good, while low becomes high
Water gives place to land while evaporating
Leaving the beings pondering & thinking
If their lives are dreams of a lie.

Fight to stay awake the ride just started
For all the Reaper does is wake you up
To your own dream reflected in a cup
That is drank by the 1st angel that parted.

Please go now and experience
What MAJICAL M.J. has to offer
As I already spark the bubbler
On the other side, I wait with patience.

I love writing, I do more prose than poetry, but here's one I wrote on my view of the world and weed.

The Last Truth
Untold lies live in the hearts of the cold.
Untold stories live on in the unloved old.
A forgetful world with forgivable sin,
To end again is only to begin.
No escape from the self-indulgence and lust,
It seems there is so little to trust.
Alas, there is one truth to comfort through the hype
The best friends you’ll ever have are a baggy of weed and a pipe.

Hey this is so true! I been smoking weed for over 20 years and its never let me down, somehow its allways been there for me. It never talks back unless your getting so stoned that you think it does. Its never yelled or caused me any headaches...well there is this one strain that does that...just stay away from that one. The rest are pretty much better then any friend you can find.

Indeed! It has been there for me in my darkest hour, and has taken away my pain time and time again. I've come to realize that in my life I really have no real 'friends', and that's okay because I have a few acquaintances, a fiancé, my kitty, and my pot. what more could a girl ask for?
