I wrote this about five or six years ago out of the blue. I was in a strange mood and just typed away. I don't know, I think it's kind of amusing, and undoubtedly very weird. I handed it in at college in a creative writing class. It was our last assignment and we could do whatever we wanted, only it had to be a certain amount of words. I had added to this, but I don't know where that copy is and I only handed it in because I knew I'd never have to go into that class again and I don't even know what grade he gave it, though my average grade at the end of the semester was very good. I'm assuming he didn't like it though, especially since it was extremely different from anything else I had handed in. Anyway, I haven't shown it to many people, just a couple of friends, so feedback would be nice.

So here it is...

Casual Conversation

"That's pretty fucked up."

"You think so, eh?"

"Think so? I know so!"

"Right then."

"So, other than that, what is new with you?"

"I'm going to shoot myself in the heart tomorrow."

"Because yer finger nails keep bleeding?"

"No, because my balls fell off."

"Oh well, I understand."

"You should."

"I do."

"So do I."

"Yeah, so..."

"Yeah."

-musiks play in background-

"Oh listen to that. My favourite song is playing."

"I have no balls and all you can think about is musik."

"Yeah well, this song is more important than your balls. Or lack, thereof."

"Fuck your song."

"Believe me, I would if I could. Damn that's a good song. It would be some hell of a fuck!"

"My balls were good. I miss them."

"If this song disappeared, I would miss it."

"I miss my balls more than you would miss the song."

"Okay, you are scaring me. Don't get all hypothetical on me. My song will NEVER leave me!!!"

"I used to think that about my balls."
