Default December 8, 1980

December 8, 1980
Horrified is his old lady
shot in the back by an outraged fan
no reason to die, he was an innocent man
like a flower cut down
in the middle of spring
he could no longer write
he could no longer sing
but at least he died happy
with Yoko by his side
December 8, 1980
the day the whole world cried

This poem is a little bit shorter that I would have liked it to be, but I ran out of ideas.
