Nickel

The high pitched noise of the passing cars
shoot like the stars over my head.
The chill-moist air dampens my lungs
and my exhale falls to the ground
denser than before.
I blink and blink and blink.
My eyelids soon become saturated
and spill over to my cheeks.
This empty and scared void that had invaded my soul
tilts it's head back in confidence -
lifts it's fists towards its shoulders
and lets go a mind shattering vocal blast.
The void rocks back and forth under the control of laugher
saying, "An easy accomplishment I must admit."

hehe, good poem/description. I liked it. God knows it was good, a little on the short side but I suppose you already knew that! Well anyway man, good work, keep it up I want to see more!
