Clinging to others ideals, morals and values is refusing to recognise your own. It is to live in someone elses world and will leave you confused, distraught, ultimately empty and unfulfilled.
Your function in this society is to be you. There is no more ultimate contribution you can make than to live the life you want and to allow others to do the same.
Whenever anothers will is forced upon you your freedom is denied, your social function is destroyed and you must rebel.
Rebel. Only then a true representation of human wants and needs will be realised and a truly human life can be lived. Rebel.
