An opressed people
We find ourselves lost
Like a church and it's steeple
We carry our cross.

They take us away.
Lock us in a cage.
Beacuase we smoke plants.
This fills me with rage.

Once a free country.
We've long since astrayed.
Those we put in office.
Have long since betrayed.

We've been beaten, arrested,
Some even killed.
For something less dangerous
than an aspirin pill.

When will it end?
What will it take?
No need to pretend.
No need to be fake.

It's time that they know
Our tolerance is fading.
This plant we will grow.
In spite of they're hating.

So buy you some soil.
Get you a light.
Save you some seeds.
And join this fight.
