Nightlong I have lain under luminous celestial bodies
Peering into the heavens, listening to the earth weep
Sobs of Sorrow. For he sees all, feels all, endures all
I stare into his pale eyes and begin to faulter
Darkness falls upon me
For I have felt the anguish of a people, the agony of life
Mortality is my only escape

I really like how your poem sounds, but Im not sure I get what you're trying to say with it?

I apologize for taking such a long time to retort. I forgot that I has posted something here.

This is a person, not necessarily me, finally becoming one with nature and realizing through an intimate interaction with him (nature) how much pain we are causing him with all of the horrible things we are doing on this planet. Whether it is the horrid way we treat our environment, the repulsive way in which the animal's on this planet interact with each other, or the uncountable injustices in which are done every second, nature sees all and feels all of the pain. The man then looks into nature's eyes and feels what he is feeling, the pains of the world...

It most definetly is. I write and read constantly. Probably about 1000 words a day. I will probably go to college and major in creative writing at William and Mary, if they have that type of program. Do you write?

You better believe I do buddy! Although I realized that to pay for college and enter a writing program is impracticle, because you don't need college to become a writer, you know what I mean, I never though about it before until my dad brought it up, and he's like why would I pay for you to go to college and be a writer when you can do it from home. just something to think about. But yeah, I write a lot of poetry but I never post it here. Although reading is not my thing.
