How do you tell a stranger you're sorry?

You came into my home,
Right through the small window,
And you quickly informed,
And enlightened my ego,

I could see through your eyes.
With every description,
We shared our advice
As well as intentions,

Your opinions do matter,
Since I knew that you cared,
Your trust I misplaced,
Your troubles I shared,

With the push of a button,
Everything’s out of whack
I sent the wrong message,
Now I can’t get it back,

Instead of forgetting,
They passed it on,
Now our friendship is fading,
Because you are gone,

How can a stranger,
Become so inspiring?
With the help of a box,
And my dad’s handy wiring?

Although we’ve never met,
I feel like I know you,
Your adventures are great,
I can relate to them too,

Like the truck that was totaled,
While speeding around,
Or your dad while he yelled,
With frustration abound,

The people you’ve confronted,
On your trip all alone,
Your compassionate soul,
And maturity has been shown,

I’ve told you I’m sorry,
It won’t happen again,
I hope you believe me,
I’ll be waiting till then,

That's a wonderful poem, I loved the way it flowed and came together, and it didn't end so abruptly as tons of poems do, and you manged to get it to rhyme! Wowsers!
