the poem is about how women in our society are expected to do all this crap and be respectful to men and not have a voice so here is where my pissed offness took me.

Um...I loved the style you wrote it in. I'm not quite sure what angle you're coming from, cause I can respect women in exactly the same way as I can respect men. Women are my friends, GF, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother...we are all equal in my eyes. Black, white, straight, gay, male, female...the list goes on...take it easy.

but there are TOO moany people that don't see things like you and me Heathen, and this poem is about them. for the longest time in american society women have been looked down upon and this poems angle is sort of like from that womens angle, but in a narration form. It's like, a higher powers voice, telling this girl "hey everything will be ok" (I don't know. maybe i was a women in a previous life)

I love it! My dad is one of those kinda guys. Although, out of respect for him, I think I have proved there are always some exceptions to the rules. But when I piss him off, I'm instantly a "womens libber".

You did quite well conveying some of the impressions I have recieved from guys before, considering your lack of estrogen.

Unfortunately, most of the guys with this attitude have no problems with being abusive in some manner. Having my fair share of those relationships, I know how fast they can tear a person down on the inside. I've never thought that some guys might actually be bothered by this attitude taken on by their sex. Thanks for showing me the light.

A good joke I heard the other day was about a man who collapsed while crossing an intersection on a hot day. A woman knelt down beside him and loosened his shirt collar to check for a pulse, when a man came up behind her saying "Move aside lady, I've been trained in first aide." She replies with, "When you get to the part 'Call a doctor...' I'm here!" I think that says it all.
