why woman wait

For me, the issues revolve around women. But for you, your issues may revolve around men. Or both. Or neither. Then, if your issues revolve around nothing, what do you have then?

My issues revolve around nothing, to be more precise. Where there used to be love and hope, even though those two were completely opposed to each other in one woman. Hence the issues.

To have love and to have hope....in the same woman. What is love? And what is hope? Love is: a bond between two conscious beings. THe strength of the bond comes from the willingness, on both parties, to submit one's own desires for the other's. THe bond gets stronger with every recurring example of this principle, to think of the other's well-being before yours. What is love? To want to give. To want to protect. To be immersed in another's pain, misery, in empathy.

Well....love is what i dumped out onto the street about five months ago.

And now, she is with Mr. Paramedic. Mr. Right. Yup....i can smell it. He's the destined, chosen mate, perhaps even her soul-mate.

Quite frankly, I don't know if I have it in me to love. To need? maybe. To want? If i didn't want, i would not be alive, i would be dead.

I dumped it for hope.

THe hope for an exit to my life here in the city of doom

children
stability
normality
nuclear family
grandkids
uncles
aunts
all
that

I knew that there was no chemistry there.....i just wanted to get out of my life here and thought that she would either inspire me to get a better job elsewhere, or perhaps, though i never really thought it would happen, she would have me live with her at her residence, to take care of her, to have me love her, far far away from here.

and there you are left to dangle and analyze yourself to death, alone, in your apartment, wrist hurting from too much mousing, time for bed.

She was never right for you to begin with. You've been through this before. You know that she wasn't right.....and as hard as that was to understand, the monthly break-ups didn't happen for nothing.


forget women....just concentrate on the career......but you hate this city and want to get out? But then you are too lazy/afraid to leave?

That was a good story/poem, even though I had trouble understanding it.

Paramedics respond to emergencies and are classified as "helpers".

Sometimes, if left unchecked, these people burn out on life (due to high stress) and bring down the people in their lives along with them. Why? Because they are so busy helping everyone else's emergencies that they end up having more of them themselves.

Sounds like she has taken the bait & reacted to his emergency.

You are much better off with a woman who has a stronger will.

This is all just my opinion.
