A Man

A man can tell you what to do,
He even tells of how to do it.
But I do not want to listen now,
In fact, I hear right through him.
He speaks of terror in its forms,
He tells of how to fight it,
The question I ask is

How will violence right it?

A man no less than he
Bleeds in the street and dies,
He a man to listen
To all the others' hate-filled lies.
I could not cry for this man
For anger brought this to him,
He listened to the other man.

Instead i hear right through him.
