The hurt you inflicted went straight to the bottom-
the bottom of my soul
Pulling my heart with it,
when it needed so much to be uplifted.

There you sat, on the otherside
Choosing water over blood,
creating the great divide.

Not forgiven, not forgotten:
On you drink from our holy chalice,
indulging in all it's greatness
while taking water from the river of malice,
fueled by sins of satans.

Not forgiven, not forgotten:
I was your crutch when you were crippled
Now I've been hurt
and suddenly for you,
aiding doesn't seem so simple.

Not forgiven, not forgotten:
It has been a new day
And yet you can't remember
the words of hate from yesterday.

Forgiving, forgetting:
Easier for you to do
since you weren't the one
whose heart was shot through.

I like the poem's structure, it's nicely balanced and pleasing to the eye. I also like how the repeated line, 'Not Forgiven, Not Forgotten' sets everything in place for the final verse, thereby giving it more impact for the reader. Very powerful, very well-written.
