Freakish

This is a stupid story i wrot eone night when i was stoned, sorry if some of it doesnt make too much sense...


SPLIFF PATROL

“Hey You!” A voice called out in a sort of hushed-shout, which sounded like it had been refined over a number of other hushed-shouts whilst stood on other complete strangers driveways.
He was hanging out of his window trying to look inconspicuous whilst lighting a big fat joint when he was startled by a sudden hushouting from the driveway below him causing him to jump and singe his left eyebrow.
“What?” He shouted back as he checked to see if the top of his head wasn’t on fire too.
“Come out here a minute” was the reply.
“Why?” He shouted back again.
“Come on! Just come down here a minute”
“Alright then”
He could make out three people stood in front of his house, he couldn’t tell who they were but they seemed quite placidly shaped.
He pulled on his trainers, stuck the joint in his pocket and, on second thought, decided not to take the screwdriver before creeping downstairs and slipping out the front door quietly.
The scent of marijuana greeted him as he crossed the lawn and approached the three strangers.
“Spliff Patrol” Said one of them in response to his ‘yeah what do you want?’ greeting noise.
“What’s Spliff Patrol?” He asked.
“We’re going around finding people who are trying to smoke dope out of their bedroom windows without their parents noticing, then we get them to walk round with us and help find other people trying to smoke dope out of their bedroom windows.” Said some girl.
He mused over the idea for a moment, imagining the possibilities of situations that involved going home in a police car.
“Yeah, I’ll walk around with you then”
He sparked up his joint and passed it round the group as they walked down the street and up a short alleyway.
They had only walked along two more roads before they successfully identified the source of the sound of someone trying to work to how to take really, really quiet bong hits.
“What do we do now?” He asked as the new member opened the gate and joined the group.
“We find more people”
And that’s how it continued into the night, more and more people joined Spliff Patrol and it grew and grew. Soon the group got so big that it branched off into two different gangs and swept across two different areas of town. Spliff Patrol soon grew to its hundreds- hundreds of smokers lined the streets looking for munchies and new members. Then they moved north, drawn by a line of fast food restaurants and into the neighbouring city… and from there on, Spliff Patrol went on to change the world.
