writing down a morose song
of trick, of game, of fun gone wrong
never listened, just heard it wrong

there must be something hidden here
something deep inside his head
feeling pain or problem deep
that from us he felt to keep

didn't stop to listen though
of all the things which he had thought
while sitting there upon a chair
talking to his friend of short

just a joke, a game, a hiding jest
not knowing what this fun had brought
to hide and dart and seek and play
this game was not accepted there.
