In the dark the peace was shattered
A simple matter blown to ashes
A young boy flees and darts and dashes
It doesn't matter, the winner catches
The evil boy who knew much more
about a matter she cared not for

Yes it had its problems still
But something else had power to kill

The champion knew and shrugged off this stick
and instead gave to the down a swift kick
his friends begone
and soon it shall dawn
how horrible this thing may be
while handing up this freedom to me
to live, to love, to simply be free

its fate decided
in sleep has hided
coming forth in raging torrent
barely turning his soul be bent

still exisiting, without a spine
nothing being but a shallow kind

its ending queer
full of fear
quiet screaming
the cup is teaming
one more drop and the cup refills
after spilling forth its painful tears
