Saddam killed his own people
Now we have killed them too

Denounced for killing
Then its bombs away
Innocents are filling

They ask us what way

I dig the poem. I like the last Stanza the best. Peace is all in the eye of the beholder. Some people believe peace to be nobody fighting ever, no weapons, and no body suffering at another persons hands. I define peace as the lack of large numbers of people being killed in short periods of time in order for one group of people to push their views and way of life on others. Right now we are not at peace. I would settle just for none of our troops in other countries. There will always be tension between nations. It is part of human nature to be wary of others when at any given moment the other party could do something to affect them, their family, their caste, or their country.

I agree with all the love and peace gig however you must remember that Iraq started the war by bombing the towers we are only fighting back to prevent further attacks.

Iraq did not bomb the towers. Operatives from an Al qaeda cell hi-jacked the planes. Osama Bin Laden is the main supporter of this terrorist group. Not Saddam Hussein...
Osama is the same dude who tried to car bomb the towers from their underground garage parking back in the 80's by the way. So it was nothing new for him ...

i like the poem, but i'm afraid i disagree with you, removing saddam was a necessity, he would have kept on killing if he hadn't been removed, and yes regrettably lives were lost in the quest for that but i think the outcome will be good
