I sit here in the snow, it's very cold, I can't feel my hands or feet.......i've been wounded for 2 days..........shot in the stomach with a pistol. My unit of 20 Russian liberators were all bayonetted after they were captured. I heard them all screaming in the nearby wood. I lay only a kilometre or so away. I only hear the wind and distant Soviet artillery fire but in my mind I hear "in the hall of the mountain King" by Grieg. The song gets louder as they approach.......I have 2 bullets left in my Walther.........Should I shoot one of them and then myself or shoot 2 of them and allow them to do god knows what with me............
click*{loads pistol}...........Bang*. I got one........click*{loads pistol with last bullet} God is with me...........Bang*............

Is that story about a WW2 German soldier? Good story though, life can suck .
