Its me, myself & I as i put my pen to the pages
feelin' a rage its frustration at minimum wages
i hate this hardship of bein' back to where...
i started, no change for a pack of squares
an artist w/ no inspiration except for the pain
it surrounds me & it drowns me, affectin' my brain
i've been left in the rain & i'm soaked to the soul
i see the sun sometimes when i'm smokin' a bowl
if this was poker i'd fold, but its not...
i'm so lonely and cold, but i got.....
to do what i gotta do to get through the day
my homie got locked, it was on the news today
ya gotta do what ya gotta do to pay
the rent... & we don't always get to choose our way
stuck in this circle w/ no exit, its bulls***
i'm gonna end it, one round out of a full clip
got my finger on the trigger but i can't pull it
i feel so foolish... Why would i do this
i knew this was stupid, this s*** is sensless
some have hurdles to jump some have prison fences
this is a tough climb up the chain link
through the razor wire & my legs are tired
but my brains inspired by the flamin' fire
thats on the inside.. i'm not just along for the ride
