This is kinda odd, I never write poetry, never even liked it, but this came to the other night while blazed and I had to write i down. I dnno if its good or sucks, but I thought it was alright for a trip-induced prophecy

Life's little pleasures...

At last I can spark, the bowl's alive
I forget of my time spent from 9 to 5

Mindless days Wasting my life
only one thing left to clear out my strife

I pull on the joint then pass it along
close my eyes and get lost in the song

From the first hit I sense it
that feeling is there

Of warmth and belonging
filling the air

The joint comes on back and I hit it again
with trippin' sensations attacking my skin

I know this won't last but its good that its here
'cause tomorrow at 8 I'm enslaved by my fears
