I entered through the forest in a haze of unsure smoke
it crept, crept through the vines into the cracks apon the walls
and travelled around, between the trees, around the bush and to;
the opening I call the gate
the gate nostalgia blew;
the lady has her ways, we know, we see and all are humble
she dances 'round, so elegant, a curtsy makes you weak
the way she looks into your soul, your eyes it makes you weap
but off she goes, we haven't seen her, was she even here?
it doesn't bother asking her, nor does she even hear?
but i wish she had a voice, that she could tell me what i know
but ears she has, oh such great ears, she hears the things we lose
forgotten life, forgotten dreams, lost hope, and childish love
silly things we cast aside, but her, she sees the truth
in a way I thought i never could, but feel, somehow, i can.
