in front of that store
there used to be a man
who i knew
while vaguely
i did know him

i'd give him what i could
he'd give me what he could
i gave him silver
he gave me more

this man was a person, who i respect
i would have given my life, for this man
who i knew, for in total, no more than 5 hours
over the course of some months

i didn't know much of him
or about him
just that he was a good man

a man, who i don't see anymore
because he left
and i miss him, and wish him well
because i know, that i will never see another human being, man or child
who rivals him in character

he had his problems
he fought them, with pride
and i respect him.

I liked it a lot.

It was nicely written yet in my now stoned stupor it seems sad yet good in nature. I have no way to explain it but it just seems sad in the end yet it seemed like all was good and in place.
