Old Maggie Lee stood alone, tied up to a stake as they threw their stones. Charged was she, with the crime heresy. Confess they cried, unable to get God from their eyes, it was her they despise telling all her lies, a maggot breeding flies. Be gone witch they scream, she sees the first torch and goes to a dream. Unable to feel pain, hanging out in the astral plane there was no way to cease their ignorante disease. Salvation they claimed to offer for she, pain purifies and they made her experience agony. As the flames licked up and burnt her crown she watched her flesh fall all around but it was her that had the last laugh you see for when it was done invisible to their eyes she be. Capable now of much more, it was that day she began the lore passed on and on from the children it be for they all know the tale of the ghost witch Maggie Lee. That year was the worst for their fair town, she spooked the mayor so bad he appeared a clown. Shes after me, help quick! But no one else saw her so it never clicked. One by one she got her revenge in the night, the torch bearers she sent nightmares of hell to and boy what a fright. When it all was done there was one lad so pale, this boy she chose to tell her tale. What is it you want now my family is dead! "Listen close boy" she screamed with her voice causing dread. "You will go and you will tell to the nearest church town and everyone, that iwhen they come to my village they better just run." And what is it i should tell them to pray for once i share your revelation? "You can tell them Old Maggie Lee says pray for salvation"
