There was trepidation. Although he was the Intrepid Traveler, it was only out of his apprehensive nature concerning matters of reality. Confinements of society: time and money. All that we do in society concerns time and money. But he was the Intrepid Traveler, bold enough to cross the boundaries of space and time, who dreamt of a life of endless possibilities. For long enough he had dreamt, and suddenly he woke up. He woke up and found himself in his dream. It had merged with reality and now he was the bird who could fly across the Pacific Ocean and perhaps, eventually, into the farthest reaches of the universe.

But even the bird is too confining. For the bird can only fly. He simply is God. He is the Lord, for what else could he be? In fact, even God is not suitable, for the name is confined to only a word. Whatever he is cannot be identified by any sources on Earth, through any senses, except all and none at the same time. His soul could not fit into Heaven or Hell.

IT was walking along on the sidewalks of his dull suburban neighborhood at 3:00AM, killing time while he waited for the answer. He had fallen off course, back into reality. The Fear had returned. He was off center. Now he was waiting to give himself the code to get back into the good place. This method never failed. It was just a matter of being brought to this point. A lot of times some reefer would help him along the way, but it also held the chance of having the opposite effect if he went on a binge and wasted too much time and became lethargic.

‘What is the answer?!’ he yelled in his mind, spiraling into infinite abstract observations of himself and the universe. Two cats were ****ing in the alley and the lady cat was screaming a new one. Or was it the male, was he stuck? ‘**** it!’ he said to himself. “**** it!” He had broken his internal mirror.

He walked back home and enjoyed a peaceful rest. He woke up refreshed and lived happily ever after. Well, at least until he died six months later.

But what IT experienced during those six months would be enough for six lifetimes. …
Tune in next week to see what becomes of the Intrepid Traveler during his final six months!
