yes there was blood in my eyes. i stared in the mirror as my face became plastic. the cut on my head was scabbed and dried. i turned to the girl on the floor as she stirred.

"oh damn" she rubbed her head "what the **** happened. i thought i was on the monorail" she looked at me

"frog, what happened? where is don?"

i sat down on the bed, nearly falling off the side. "he's lost somewhere in this crazy place." i pulled off the stretched tape and blankets. "and so are we."

she stood trying to stand but failing and instead falling flat on her face with a thump.

"ooh" i said cringing. "you okay?" it didnt fase her. she stood again and pulled me to the door.

we stumbled out of the room, with emily still dressed in a large coat strapped to her torso with a swim suit top. she wasnt wearing pants but she still wore her swimsuit bottom under her long coat. that wasnt the odd part of her outfit. i pulled on my jacket over a undersized mickey t-shirt and boxers. we didnt realize that it was nearly 80 degrees outside.

"what do we do?" she said, still half hiding in the room.
"how about lunch" i said. she pulled me inside the room.
"are you crazy?" she looked at me with terror.
"what?" i said.
"look at us" she wispered "were on drugs"
"oh yeah" i stood up. "then lets wait" i picked up the tv and slipped it back into its spot on the red dresser, knocking over cups of booze and plates and crushing empty baggies. i turned it on and collapsed onto the bed. she still sat on the floor against the door.
"we cant stay here" she stood and pulled me out of the room. she led me around the corner to another hallway. we obviously drew the attention of a family preparing to unpack in their room. perhaps now they are considering staying at the contemperary instead. she dragged me into the elevator. "this should be safe. we started moving up. "where did you see the last maid?"
i was entranced by the metal walls.
"speak!" she yelled into my ear causing the room to spin. i jumped in terror.
"good god, why dont you just cut my heart out with a spoon." i attempted to stand but she pulled me back down.
"where was the last maid?" she held my face infront of hers.
"uh." i was lost in the clamp of her hands.

and then the door opened revealing a family of four kids and two gradparents and a southern middle aged couple. we screamed in utter horror as we attempted to reach for the close door button. the room was jumbing into a cloud of maddness. i vomitted on the floor causing the kids to stop and stare also. the door closed leaving the family to absorb what just happened. traumatized forever.
