I think of you
I see a pulchritudinous sunset and I stop
admire its beauty and enters my next thought
to me its no surprise of course, can you guess who
as the sun kisses the horizon, I think of you

on my way and the destination in this case does not concern
but what is, was the experience I had and the passion that burns
I passed a home with dozens of roses, florid and in full bloom
the aroma was intoxicating and reminded of one, I think of you

out that night and I happen to observe the sky
and the glistening twinkle I saw in the stars I see in your eyes
but i could gaze into your eyes much longer because their the brightest two
when asked whom do I care most about, I think of you



Love is Pain, Pain is Love

In this garden of life,we are never warned
that the most beautiful rose often has the sharpest thorns
so whats pleasing to the eye, is not to the touch
I loved you and still do, if you only understood how much

I care for you, your safety and well being
its like my day was meaningless unless its your smile Im seeing
breathing would'nt be as delightful if your essence vanished
more than love? your food for the soul and my spirit is famished

your the ink in my pen, one I will always defend
your my ideal lover but before and after always a friend
youve changed me inside, cant deny that I've been reborn
love is pain, pain is love..... as im pricked by your thorns

Intellectual Intercourse
empty picture frames, where memories should be
love turns to pain when I find the love I have for you,is not the same for me
Friendship is cherished but I wish I could get you to see
that those blank frames could be filled with you and I, together we

could create something special, dont you feel a sort of connection
just a smile or a thought of you, brightens my day, I welcome the affection
that Im overcome with as your talked about, this love has me at attention
feelings mutual? I'll drop your name to cupid..its well worth a mention

compare your eyes to the stars? I hope you would mind
stars only have the night, while your eyes shine at all times
compare you beauty to a flower...and I'd have to ask why
all wither and die, but your beauty... is a constant supply

my love for you is endless, your presence I never tire
I respect you for your mind, but your body I also admire
thank god for your creation....my inspiration..a never ending source
I would never force sex, when we talk..its intellectual intercourse


One Word
one word to describe how you make me feel
gave up on love a long time ago but now it seems real
an immature younger me was dumb and couldnt see
how good I had it,the mind and heart never tend to agree

one word....which is Love was one I once feared
but was an emotion I experienced whenever you appeared
my happiness is intertwined with my out look on life
thought I needed a different answer,when the one I had was right

one word was my decession and now I suffer from sorrow
to know that from my choice this pain will stay long after tomorrow
if you gave me another chance, i dont think I would accept
to put you through it again, the first time was enough to regret

one word that I now know the meaning of is karma
what goes around,comes around I wish I didnt start that drama
and if our paths do cross again,perhaps at a late night party
one word wouldnt be enough to tell you how much Im sorry
