Living with Scars
Blind from reality our mind sees what it wants to see, But we are but a tiny fraction in a blink of time forever living in darkness, having had but a glimpse of truth, Yet eclipsed is the light of knowlege that shines for us, not from above and nor does it lead us, for it is love. It is a sad world we live in today, drowning from its lies and corruption, and lost in this sea of greed and it's scarred me, but hasn't killed me because the reality subsides in the fight, because life's a battle of mind against time. The pain goes away but a scar lasts a lifetime, so live for the fight and fight for your life, Open your eyes today because when in the end, all your tomorrows will have turned into yesterdays. Another scar will be born. A scar's birth occurs when the pieces of life come together and when the light shines through the darkness, wounds were all but healed and in these lonely times one experiences the pains of love and life, and when sorrow fills the spaces of your heart, once inflamed by a loves grace, rain will shed your tears and alone you will play the song your hearts once sang together, and before she rests her head on her pillow at night, hear the whisper of our words in the wind as we sing them to you, and let them caress your ears, for our hands can not. Because lost is the man who lay hopeleslly in the invisible arms of what is forever gone to him. This man, torn by his past has met himself at the crossroads of time where he dances to a silent song, and with closed eyes he dreams of a golden road that leads him to a place where everything is kind, a place where you can follow the scent of flowers of bloom into her eyes, this place is love and this light that guides us is love, and it only exists in the beat of our hearts, so let this music take us for a ride and in our beautiful minds we'll fly, taking a break from the lies. Let us dance to the rythym that our heart beats, taking us to a place where our dreams can meet.
