I wrote this today for an altered book page w/my handprint as the background let me know what you think

My handprint is here now for all to see
its banged and its bruised
With its scars, its held keys
its made beauty be set free

My handprint is here
with its wisdom and skill
to toss you a rope if in need
or rub off a cold chill

My handprint is here just in case you were'nt told
If Im not beside you, its here just to hold.

Very nice. I also liked. the ending, made me think about my gilfriend who lives in a different city.

Hey Thanks guys. I really like it too and sometimes when I write something and reread it the next week or so I usually dont like it anymore The page didnt turn out so good but I still like the poem thanks again..j

Great sonnet? i wanna say, im not sure if u were thinkn about that but correct format im not too sure about the rhythmic pattern but great stuff. I really look forward to reading more from u!
