Chapter 2 (all i have for now)

I walked into the orc stronghold, Kunedra, on the frontier I heard a voice behind me “hey you! Your in for it now!!” before i could even turn around there was a great pat on my back and my knees nearly buckled i finally got to get a good look at my best friend Lemon, well his real name was Figory but we call him lemon since he killed a dwarf by blinding it with lemon juice. “hail, lemon anything new on the front”, “well ya'know same ole' same ole” lemon was a troll about 6' 3” and the strength of a bull, “hey, who's that behind you?” i asked lemon looked 'round and spotted the shade behind him, dark gray skin and wearing a metal tunic with 2 daggers sheathed on his hips and sunken black eyes, ”thats Magrae, hes my apprentice for the day, i am suppose to show him a thing or two about battling the enemy, but there hasn't been any action yet.”.

Ironically there was a resounding bang around the camp followed by many smaller bangs and paps afterward the shade turned around with eyes glowing red and muttered “its a giant and 10 dwarfs with guns their aiming for our sentry's many of them are missing, cant be much more experienced than me a few months ago but there is one with focusing lenses he is very experienced with rifles, very precise” lemon looked annoyed “well you two go after the riflemen and ill take the giant, cant be that hard” we started to walk out and lemon caught me by my shoulder “and just in case of ambushes keep your war horn handy” i nodded, and i took out the ice crown gem, inserted it and put it away and transformed into my usual black panther form and darted out.

I Ducked as 3 shots came my way, i changed back still crouching creating a hand gesture i felt rage and adrenalin rush through my body and my hand started to glow green and the edges of the light were dripping like water, the skilled dwarf finally reloaded and shot i threw out my hand the the bullet disintegrated on impact i unsheathed my sword and ran like a cat at the dwarf who skillfully flipped the butt of his gun around and parried and he grunted “Cho duk niparg novant lauge” and laughed i could only guess that he said “good, but not enough” i raised my dripping hand and burned through firing hammer so he couldn't shoot, i launched backward and the dwarf reached into his backpack and pulled out a sword attachment that could attach to the firing end of the rifle and be used like an axe, he latched it in place and held it by the butt, i laughed to myself, “don't get too cocky” i started to run to his left and i lunged at him frog like and in one smooth movement i stopped the blade with my sword and jabbed my hand into his gut which melted through his armor and i think went through his back as well. He went limp, i squelchy removed my hand and turned to see that the battle was over.

Lemon was holding his axe around the giants neck and Magrae was idly spinning a toy gnome with his telekinesis power. I walked up to lemon “some battle” i said grumpily “eh? You sound disappointed.” “1 dwarf thats it! Look at magrae he got 9!” “hey i only got one also.” “yeah but yours is a giant” “your point? they were probably the same when it came to battle.” “yeah...”.

Without warning lemon threw out his arm and grabbed the horn and blew it as he pulled out a knife and threw it at something over my shoulder i turned slowly on the spot and i gasped “oh... hell” the hillside was moving and clanking, the whole mountain was covered in alliance. The dagger the lemon threw had a tag on it that burst into a green flame that created an extraordinarily amount of smoke. Orcs, trolls shades and undead were rushing out of the stronghold to meet the on comers workers and slaves were working to set up trebuchets and balista's on the stronghold's walls and we waited and the alliance stopped everything was silent but the clanking and crunching of armor and boots and behind us we heard a string snap and creaking and the first trebuchet rock was fired and took out 3 people, the alliance looked bewildered and thats when we charged.
